Seat Mounting Points

The unused bolt holes have rubber plugs, and are not threaded. Threads are cut by the bolts/studs as they are initially installed.

'90-96 Seat Bolt Holes

The locations originally UNused by the factory have rubber plugs to seal the unthreaded holes. When a fastener is installed the first time, it cuts its own threads.

April 26th, 2024 it was a nice enough day to pull the car out and clean up the tires and wheel wells from possible salt dust when driving on dry roads but with some salt residue during the winter.

"Tire Tuk" Spare Slideout Tray '88 F150

I've never seen this aftermarket spare tray before. Only the near corner appears damaged.

Looking closely at the molded handle, it says "Tire Tuk, Inc., Garland, TX"

Don't forget to remove any OTHER bolts holding the bed down, before attempting to lift it off. But to make this swap, the bed barely needs to be lifted - just one side at a time, and just a half inch is enough.

Hood Latch Support differences mean that the '94-97 HFC134a parallel-flow condenser does not fit behind the older support. But either condenser fits behind the later support.

Walker 22798 Stainless Steel Muffler made in USA is nearly identical to the original. The body is 1" shorter than a '96 Bronco's muffler. I paid ~$100 delivered.

To match the stainless muffler, I built a stainless hanger from some 3/8" rod and a sheared strip of ~16ga molded around the old muffler.

The gray primer/sealed one is the factory Carbon-steel part that I'm copying.

The flange was holding the muffler almost in-position, but this is the mount that will bear its weight. I'll tack it to the muffler later.
