Notes: Bought it as a rolling chassis from Texas 18 years ago. Just now getting started on it.

Even with only .125" clearance it broke thru the casting, nothing major but that im sure voids the SFI certification. Luckily i am not concerned as this is not a competition vehicle.

Remachined for .125" clearance. JW Performance had machined the clearance for the flexplate on a different center than the rest of the bellhousing, it had lots of clearance at the top but was rubbing on the bottom.

who would have thought you would have to remachine a $500 bellhousing? JW ultra bell requires a 164 tooth flexplate but is not machined big enough to clear the ring gear of the flexplate. Picture s show the interference.

checking clearances with plumbers putty after sliding bellhousing on to smash putty. Plenty of clearance now!

Fuel pump installed with Relay that is fed by 12 guage wire. Megan was responsible for plumbing the pump and filter and did a fine job.
