49swingpad.jpg The original clamshell pad (E8TZ1A477A) isn't available, so I made a sleeve from a 2"-wide strip of plastic.  I coiled it, stuffed it into a pipe, heated & then cooled the pipe to set the coil shape in the strip.  After cleaning the swingaway arm, I glued the strip down and wrapped it as tightly as possible.  Once the glue cured, I used a torch to melt the end of the strip back onto the previous wrap so it can't come loose.
