usb1.jpg Among other electrical mods, I'd like to have an in-dash USB power socket. So I'm adding a fuse to the stock dash fuse box by installing a pigtail terminal from a junkyard fuse block. I've stripped all the terminals from this one, including the buss bars (above). To add a fuse to a position with no buss bar terminal, simply solder or crimp a pigtail into an empty position on the back of a buss bar with the electrical chracterstics needed (battery, key-switched, etc.). Remember that the current flowing out of the fuse has to flow in, so the battery-side wire must be the same size or larger than the load wire.
