October 1998 - Lakewood, Wisconsin

Lakewood was a very cool place to go trailriding. Tons of trails, great people, and huge rigs, and although I went with a group of people that mainly drove jeeps, there were a few of us full size guys who went our own ways later in the day on Saturday. An '87 I-6 Bronco, '76 460cid F250, '76 460cid F100, '87 302cid Bronco, and myself.

I was probably the highlight of the weekend. While in the process of trying to pull out Brett in his F250, I managed to snap my bumper off of the frame. The first few tugs didn't even budge Brett, so Rick hooked up his bronco to my front tow hook, and we gave it a shot. That's when the bumper snapped off.

To get Brett out, we had two jeeps winch him out, while Rick and I hooked up our Broncos to the white jeep to serve as anchors. He kept sliding at first, and it took about 10,000lbs of Bronco to hold him still. :)

Because of the number of pictures, the main events were split up into the following categories. Click on a link to see the thumbnails and full pictures and complete movies of each event:
