How can I convert from stock manual hubs on my 88 eddie bauer to aftermarket hubs like warn??? Warn's website says they don't work on my year of truck.

if your stock hubs are manuals you shouldn't have to convert just replace them with warn's only time you have to convert is when you have automatic hubs with 3 screws on the cap. i just did mine they were the automatic hubs with 5 screws on the cap so i didn't have to buy the conversion kit.
hope this helps

Wrong-Some of the 88 fords have a entirely diffrent system, almost like All wheel drive lookin hubs, If you take your wheel off and the hub is held on by the lug nuts you my have to stick with stock. Try MileMarker or Your nearest Ford dealer to find out what you can replace them with.......

Thats not dented, It's customized

Thanks for the tip. I looked at the Ford parts website and they want like 200 bucks. I was hoping to find a way to avoid that and maybe find a hub that is made for dana 44's or something. I don't really know.

John-b I just swapped the front axle hubs on my buddies 88, He had the Lock-in knob
crack on a rock. When we went to fix it we found out that the outer case for the hub
was one solid piece that was only held on by the wheel and lug nuts. If you look at my front end disc's, they have that same tube lookin piece welded to it. I don't know why his were like that but the parts store down the street was gonna charge us an arm n a leg for a new one. I will try to get some pictures posted of his hubs on my profile.
