As patrick saw this evening I managed to get the blazer back up and rolling today, upon close and detailed inspection I still could tell nothing about the rear frame condition. Jacked up the rear end and mounted a spare, just to see if diveline was fawked, took it around the block and it felt fine so next I checked out the rear end, still looked offset and felt as if it was tracking sideways down the road, still could tell nothing because the spare rim had a diff offset...Next I rebeaded the tire on that side with the ol' ether and a match trick and went to the gas station and aired it up and it held air, remounted it and it still looked off, then I noticed teh class III hitch was fawked, unmounted it and thats when I noticed that it alone was giving the whole arse end that shifted appearence...wheew so all was good back there, yanked with gloves and unfolded the rear panel as best as I could and took teh truck for a spin up to interstate speeds and it felt decent. Got home and inspected the front end real well, still unsure but the frame rails looks straight it just appears as if the bumper sub frames are fawked and look bent...with nothing mechanically unsound, I rolled the blazer back into B.R.....so it looks as if I got lucky with any real major damage, got body damage but I plan on hacking some fenders and compensating for the hacking with custom bumpers.

I think the severity of the damage was looking without time to look deep and knowing, I think I may have gotten much luckier than I ever thought, I still have a wicked shimmy in the front end and have yet to find that but I got time to look now.... the rear spring packs were twisted and I still am not real faithful in them but some 4" lift springs should do the trick. As of now my new plans are hack it up and use it as a beater.

Oh yeah and as for a 73-76 still keep your eyes peeled...I would still like to find a clean titled truck...
