I am about to replace my gas tank due to it leaking (pinhole/rust), How do I find out if it is a 2 inch or 3 5/8, it is an 88 bronco 302 eddie bauer. I found 2 tanks at advance for $99. any tricks or advice? Thanks Ike

You can actuallly feel the lock ring if you climb under your rig and reach up over the rear diff. I'm pretty sure that you have the 3 5/8" one. But, it's not that hard to check.
