Just finished up on my homegrown dual exhaust, sounds good.A few more horses out of the little 305 didn,t hurt.. I took Josh,s advice ,bought 2 shocks for the rear except the price here in Metairie was 19.99 a piece instead of 15.99.........maybe parts are cheaper in BR Autozones.

One of my shocks was frozen, both didnt have enough travel. The new shocks made a world of difference.

Dont forget to vote tomorrow, we know who the enviromental wacko's are......

I think it looks great. Your doing some good work on it thats for sure.I still think you need some 37 s on there but thats a personal preference kinda of thing. It stands pretty tall right now, I think once you get that body lift on there it will really look great.Maybe trim the fenders like on Frisbee,s rig in Missouri.I heard you talk about the rear bumper, ( 4x4 iron ) I saw the kit they sell, I think we could buy the steel here locally and cut it out , fit it up and weld it our selfs. It really didn,t look that complicated.I did some searching around for 8" x 3" x 3/16ths Rectangular tubing. You have to get it in 20 foot length , cost around 120.00 , enough to build 3 bumpers.Tell me what you think about building our own bumpers.
Do you plan on keeping this body or you looking to put another body on?

I'd like a new body, especially emmissions exempt, but I used to pride and usually enjoy a truck to wash and wax on regardless if I use it off road or not, just makes people that much more intrested in my work if its Used but appears maintained, truthfully my user name was thought up as in "Bowtie" - chevy symbol or --clean looking-- Blazer......now I think of it to myself more as chevy blazer, did I mention my ticket was not "fixable" as it happened on I-10 and the parish guys wouldn't even touch it....$173.50 Ouch
