What's the difference between 3.2 and 4.0 mega-pixels? Is there enough of a difference to spend more on the 4.0? |

I want to say the more megapixels the better the quality of the pictures, I'd go with the 4

YOu are correct sir... The more mega pixles the bigger the picture which means better quality..
Depends on what you want to do.. I have a 2.3 ( I think) Megapixle camera and I am very happy with it.. I am not taking any magazine quality shots .. BUt I also am not afraid to take it in the woods and shoot pics of wheeling..

I'm looking at the new Olympus Stylus series. They're weather proof so I'd be safe out doors and on the trail. It it worth the extra money for the four megapixels? |

I say yes but I guess it could be personal preference, you'd be fine with the 3.2, but if it were me and I had the extra money to spend I'd go with the 4, one day you might wanna take a picture of something a bit off in the distance, or in low light and might want that extra quality

im a camera nut. ive had 4
more megapixles give you the ability to crop more, and generally a little bigger PRINT size.
if you print large pics then 3 will give you 8x10, 4 and up gives you more. some of the larger megapixles also have more chrmatic aberrations, and noise and other issues.
i use a sony V-1
i plan on buying my wife a sony T-1
both are 5 megapixles |
