When I bought new in March 28 1984, it came with a none-smog leaded gasoline carbureted 3.8 V6, now is getting a new heart with the following specs:
Blueprinted 320 HP 302 Roller version Block
Forged steel Crankshaft
Forged rods
Hyperuetectic 9.5 to 1 Federal Mogul Pistons
Hydraulic Steel Roller HO Cam (Idle to 5500)
Cast Iron 65cc cylinder heads with new valves, locks, retainers and seals
Melling High Volume Oil pump
Dual sump 8 liters oil pan
Sealed Power Moly Rings
Heavy Duty Double Roller Dynagear Timing Set
Federal Mogul Bearings
New Hardened Pushrods
Stamped Steel 1.6 to 1 ratio Rockers
Complete Fel-pro Gasket set
New Harmonic Balancer
New C5 transmissions

The new engine preparation and installation is being done at this time, August 04, 2002; and it should be ready in about 15 days.
I also have plans for front and rear suspension modifications using Mustang and Motorsports components.
After the mechanical work is done, it will also get a new paint. |
