Warmed & Massaged 460 using D1VE Block & Heads. Runs a 429 SCJ, OEM cam. timing set is Motorcraft Accu Roll, by Cloyes. Run a windage tray also. HAs dual 2.25" dia exhaust & Turbo Mufflers.
Future plans include making a Mass Air Based TP/EFI system with SIDS run Double rail & Injector system.

A modified C5 , 3spd A/T with upgraded bands, clutches, oil rings & thrust washers. 2.87 lo gear (from a 14 passenger E300 w/4.9L I-6) turns 3.00:1, 9" FoMoCo, 4 pinion, rear axle assy.
Whole thing sits on a SWB 79 F150 Trlr Spcl chassis with modified (softened) F350 suspension, front & Rear Anti Sway bars w/ Sensatrac Gas-Oil profressive shocks & Poly Graphite bushings. It has 14" x 1.125" front disc brakes, dual piston calpiers, high air flow, scoop style, OEM backing plates. |

I've owned this F100since 1973 when It was a 240CID I-6 with 3 spd manual O/D. It is a SWB Style Side, custom, cab, and it has never seen rust. It was a West Texas truck when new. It had over 300,000 miles when I went through it.
I plan on chopping it 3" and adding 79 Air dash, eventially digital OEM instrument cluster from a T-Bird with S.T.A.R. capability.
I Love this truck. I have seen 12.6 ETs w/ TopEnd of 124.650mph at a 1/4 Mile Drag Strip. |
