Ford 351 Windsor, stock with 2 bbl carb removed from a 1976 Cougar. Mustang shortie tube headers added fopr easier installation in Chevy frame. Also a custom 3" Flowmaster exhaust system by Carlos Pacheco. Air , power steering and fan were removed. A Spal thin line electric fan is used with a custon fabricated aluminum racer by RMC. |
| Drivetrain: |
Ford C-4 Tranny with console shifter. Ford 9" rear with coil springs and triangulated 4 bar suspension and utilizing a shortened Cougar driveshaft. Front suspension is rebuilt stock 1940 Chevy knee action with spindles converted to MRC disk brakes. |

The car is a 1940 Chevrolet Special Deluxe 2 door town sedan, Model 401011 which I found on the internet and purchaced from a Minister in Butler, PA in October 2001. Did frame off restoration od lower body and modified frame to fit drive train. The body was remounted to the frame in May of 2003. Still under construction. |
