I'm in the same situation as you. Check out youtube. Do a search for Crown Vics or Crown Vic Exhaust videos. There's several clips of CVs w/different exhaust set ups. Personally, I'm looking at some Dynmax bullets. I like Flowmasters and had them on a Dodge Ram I owned before but, don't like the "hollow" sound they give...when it comes to this vehicle. I want a beefy tone w/out the "hot rod" sound since it's a luxury car. If you read in the comments on the vids you find you can find out what kind of setup they're running etc. |

Depends what you like. I prefer a glasspack sound. Right now my vic has an x-pipe and no muffler. It's loud, but sounds very very beefy. I know not many people suggest this but no muff on these panthers sounds loud and great with an x or an h pipe. It all depends whether your going for "head turning" or "classy". |

I have 2005 Grand Marquis, I had the whole exhaust replaced, from the manifolds back. Everything went and was replaced with 2.5" dual exhaust, 2 high flow cats, an H pipe, Flow Master 40 series and finished it off with the marauder style tips. It sounds great. I had to use my programmer to turn off the lower o2 sensors though, but it still passes emissions. |

I also have 2.5 inch exhaust. Cat back with flow master 40s. I added stainless steel tips and it sounds great. |
