i'm having a problem with my dome light and i found the link about the "dark car" mode but if the members are right, when the crown vic is in dark mode, interior lights won't come on when the door opens but if you hit the switch on the dome light, the light should still come on. But my dome light still doesn't work and I've already tried replacing the bulb.

Any suggestions? I need help.

My CVP has gone into "stealth mode" anytime the battery was disconnected or went dead. Though my dome lamp switch did work. Worth a try at re-setting maybe? Disconnect the single wire blue connector under glove-box. Then disconnect the negative side of battery few seconds. Re-connect the blue then re-attach the battery. Or battery then blue? Just performed this last month as stealth mode was a real pain for 2 weeks working at night. Hope this helps. But don't do it unless your confident about disconnecting battery and say loosing all your radio station memories and clock settings!
