Okay Im wondering if anyone has ever seen what whipped motor oil looks like. I bought a 1996 lincoln with the 4.6 dohc 32 engine thinking i might drop it into a 1995 crown victoria. I bought it thinking it needed a head gasket no big deal right? The car ran except it had milky looking oil in the engine, A lot of it I might add. I went to drain the oil and instead of it being thinned out from water it felt super think and creamy. After I drained out almost 15 quarts of this liquid it got me thinking WTF it feels too heavy to be mixed with antifreeze and the cooling system still holds pressure. Could it be some idiot just put in way too much oil in it; and it turned into a this super thick almost whipped looking stuff, and the engine overheated from it. Ill know tonight if any major damage was done to the engine when i get home put in some new oil and fire her up. Ive got my fingers crossed it doesent knock. any ideas guys

wow ok.
1. when u do change the oil, drive it for a couple miles and check the oil again. if it does look milky again u may have to change it a couple more times to get all of that shit out of there. if it dosent then u may want to just check it daily and keep a good eye on it
2. if it dosent go away after that then u may want to go get the coolant pressure tested, u may have a cracked intake which is very common on 4.6 motors with the plastic intake(shitty design).
3. if noneofthe aboveworks then u prolly have head gasket or other internal problems

let meknow how it goes, i may be able to help a lil mre considering the results
