I have a 92 vic. All my windows are off track. I can let them up and down by hand but when i try using my window switches all i hear is the window motor. Sounds like my motors are fine, i think? Is this problem simple as just putting the windows back on track? If so how do i do that?

On a 92 if I'm not mistaken the gear is plastic. If you still hear the motor all you need is the plastic gear that raises and lowers the window. I don't remember ever the window coming off track. But the only way of finding out is removing the entire window motor. If you see wear in the gear on the motor that should be your problem
