Hi everyone. I am new to this forum and I need some advice. I just purchased a used Hypertech Power Programmer III (41019) for my 2002 PSD. The installation was painless and it said it was successfully programmed. The vehicle runs and shifts great now. The only problem is that the "THEFT" light on the instrument panel flashes all the time now. Its not a huge problem, but an annoyance. If anyone can help, please let me know.

Thanks!!!

Mark

you either have a defective chip, or a chip that is not compatible with your computer. you need to get your computer # and chip model # and call manufacturer and tell them your problem. they should be able to help. if they cant, post it here and i will have Steve Cole at TTS help out. he is my hero and the most knowlegable expert there is. i wish i could tell you guys what is really going on in the chip world, and who really makes this stuff and who is just putting their name on it, and who is building garbage. i cant do this because of law suits. byt, i do recommend TTS.

Way to say what you're saying without saying it Gearman !!!!

When gearman refers to contacting the manufaturere - he means the programmers manufaturer - NOT Ford !

Just thought I'd state the obvious to make sure we don't create a problem there

Gearman - wan't correcting you, just trying to 'hep' out !
I have gotten myself in trouble with saying what I thought was obvious and then realize...
from MY viewpoint it was obvious, but someone else may see it as completely different !

I ALWAYS ask people to read the Help Docs I create for my software....
Me and them der cumpooters understand...
I just have a way of missing things when I write anglish
