Brakes have been pulling to the left. Dealer replaced left caliper. Still pulls to the left intermittently. Anyone else had this problem or have a suggestion? |

Have you checked the RIGHT-side caliper? If it's "frozen." and not putting much, if any, pressure on the right-side rotor, the normal-operating left caliper will pull the vehicle in that direction. I always change calipers in pairs. But you said the problem is intermittent, so my suggestion may not be the actual solution. |

I had a similar problem with a pull to left and as Landyot points out, it was
the right side caliper sliders (caliper pins) that were frozen.

Today I had the same thing happen to me. They pulled hard to the left out of blue and I almost went into oncoming traffic. As I continued on my way the problem persisted for awhile then mostly went away, but is still slightly there. I guess based on the other posts, I should consider the right caliper. I will keep you posted. |

We bought a used '00 X 4WD that had that problem, but it only showed up in hard braking. The first time I really had to cram on the brakes (about a week after we bought the truck) we nearly did an inadvertent lane change. On ours, the caliper was sticking on its slide assembly and the pull was away from the wheel with the problem.
