Has anyone replaced their mirrors or atleast taken off their front door panels? Is it going to be a problem or any tools needed? I need to do this to get to the wiring.

I hate to refer off site but I do not think that we have a how-to on that subject...

Go to www.ford-trucks.com and visit the Super Duty Forum. Anchored on top is a Super Duty FAQ. On that site you'll see "Interior..." I think I have a link in there for removing the door panel.

JIC, remove the reflector/light lense at the bottom of the door. Remove the screw.

With a flat blade object, slide the power window control module forward towards the front of the truck. Stick it in the "edge" "behind" the rear window buttons and twist. Once that is removed there is another screw. Remove that. Lift the panel STRAIGHT UP!

Remove the sail panel. That is the black plastic in the front part of the door where the mirror is bolted to. There are 3 bolts that hold the mirror on.
