$88 at the pump a little over a week ago. For some reason, the gas station I go to here in MN has a $75 limit per transaction on the pay-at-the-pump. Drives home the point even more than fuel ain't cheap! Hopefully I can milk this last 1/4 tank for another week and the prices will drop. Yesterday diesel was at $2.19/gal. OUCH!

Our pumps here in Maryland cut off at $50-$60. I have to do two transactions everytime I fill up. I filled up the other day for $79.00 and got just about 600 miles on that tank with the 5.4L with exhaust and an air intake. I also normally drive 30-35k a year so when when people whine about about having to spend 200.00 a month on gas, it makes me chuckle. (Actually I am jealous of those of you who get away with having gas bills like that.)Thank god I am self employed and deduct all my maintenience and fuel costs, but you still take the hit in the monthly budget. I have been averaging $450 a month in fuel. The next X or F350, is definately going to be diesel, especially if gas hits $3.00 a gallon.

If I wanted fuel economy I would drive a Civic but I love what I drive and you gotta pay to play ,right?

Its crazy huh....Here in NC, its runnin around 1.91 or so....But I only put in around half a tank or so, she only gets driven 4 days a week, and we run to PA once a month...so a half tank lasts me around a week or so. Im lookin for a bike or a Jeep to be my daily driver...Its hard though!! I sympathize with you all out there in CA and up in Canada!! I hpe they drop soon!!
