Well, I've bugged you guys quite a bit about various things with lifting and tires etc. Just figured I'd give you an update.

I just purchased a set of Goodyear Military OZ MT's in 37x12.50x16.5. Hoping they'll be here in a couple of weeks...shipped slow freight. I'm in the process of finding out about a set of Eagle alloy 589's. Also looking at a National 7" lift...all spring.

Will keep you informed!

I don't believe I've ever seen that tire. Are they DOT approved for the street?
Is that National Spring. I didn't think they sold complete lift kits... just custom springs! Keep us updated... I love seeing lifted eXcursions!!!

Yes, they are DOT approved. When I get em in I'll take a pic for you.

As far as the National lift...it's an individual selling it and I'm not really sure about it since he hasn't emailed me back yet.

I've Seen All Of Them.

I first one is sweet!

The second one is a little to bling bling for me!

The black eXcursion was on ebay a couple of times. Very Bad Lift Job. Huge Blocks Front And Back!

The last one I think actually belongs to a police department!

Well, this is "on-topic" so I hope you don't get confused!

The tires and rims finally came in!! I haven't had a chance to take pics just yet but they will be coming shortly. There is one problem though...well, actually a couple.

The tires were supposed to be without any damage. They were used but the seller stated that they had no sidewall or tread damage. One tire has a nail and a screw through the tread and a small cosmetic ding in the sidewall. Contacted him and he will take care of it by paying me for what it costs to patch AND plug it. If that does not work and it leaks he will send me a new one free.

The rims are supposed to be brand new. Well, one was used but in just fine condition. A little dirty. They are refunding me $30 for that problem. Another hasn't been used but it has a strange flat spot on the edge as if someone has dragged it sideways. Really strange. Company is taking care of that as well.

So, even though I'm a little closer I'm still a long way off. *sigh*

AND, I'm still in the pursuit of a lift kit. Have a couple of prospects out there. still debating if it would be cheaper to buy the parts individually. I've priced a few things and it seems like it would be. Problem is that I can't find all of the parts individually so I'll probably end up having to get the whole kit.

Anyway, that's where I stand now. Will get pics soon.
