I know you will say drive slower....but seriously. I do not speed often and I do not drive my truck like a sports car but........... I have had my tires road force balanced and all four are in perfect balance. Still there is a balancing like tremble at Highway speeds..
I thought it may be the pavement and the 35" tires b/c it does seem less noticable on different stretches of highway?????? Any Ideas????? I am lost
FYI I added Slotted cross drilled rotors and pads and the truck brakes at least 20-30% better. and smooth pedal feel like a BMW.

Turk - how old are your shocks and which ones....
The stock shocks are marginal at best - even for the stock tires...
go to larger tires and the stock shocks are junk !!!
Maybe the shocks are gone and allowing the tires to "bounce" a bit...
or maybe they have already bounced enough to cause "cupping" of the tires and this will lead to a "bounce"...
the other thing is rotating the tires regularly....
OR - you lost a belt in a tire when you made that last jump across the railroad tracks !?!?!?!?
I know, obvious things, but they BOTH bit me at one time or another

I got new shocks with the pro comp lift. It did this vibration though when I had not lift and added 33" tires. Then I added 2.5" and new springs in front and shocks etc and the truck road much better ( Absolutely right about stock shocks) But still @ highway speeds slight vibration and the tires only have 200 miles on the new 35's??

I think you may be on to something..... I added 33 inch tires and that is when the vibration became noticeable. .... This was when it was not lifted. The the pro comp and the truck rides MUCH better than stock shocks etc ..... and added 35's and had them road force balanced and they are 100% in balance??? I will check into u joint and shaft.
After this explanation, you still think this is a possiblity?

Turk,
You may also have a seized slip yoke on the driveshaft. The slip yoke allows the driveshaft to extend and contract as your suspension flex and compresses (there should be a rubber boot around it, too):
When I had a lifted Bronco, a seized slip yoke was giving me similar issues that you are having. I had my tires balanced, reblanced, etc, but not matter what I did, I always had a pretty severe vibration at a particular highway speed. Around down and everywhere else it seemed OK. After getting the driveshaft fixed, the vibrations went away.

I had this exact same problem on my 03 Excursion. It is a common problem. After many months of into Ford service they finally figured it out. My angle of the driveshaft from the rear end was not alinged properlly. Ford inserted 4 degree shims under my rear leaf springs and my problem was fixed. Now I have a slight vibration at 78 to 89. No other vibration in the vehicle.
