Recently I heard that it is wise to operate the manual hub locks from time to time. That was the first time I had heard that advice. So, I tried mine, and I wasn't able to turn them by hand. Should I try taking a tool like a wrench to them? |

Unfortunately, I had the same problem. My manual hubs locked up. I used my Robogrips on them and got them to turn. After quite a few engage/disengage actions, I am now able to turn them by hand. In hindsight however, (and especially since the X is still under warranty) I should have just brought it into the dealer and had them (hopefully) replace the hubs. I called them the other day and they said that since the hubs don't stick anymore and now move, it would be doubtful that they would replace them under warranty
Oh well, lesson learned.
BTW, make sure you put a rag in between the grips and the plastic on the lockouts.

Hit the hubs with some WD40 every few months to keep em loose, that may help when in a jam
