I have a X with the 6.0 that I bought in May 2004 and in this last cold spell in Michigan my X started no different than if it was 40 out. Either I am lucky or they made some improvements. It started fine every cold morning. I didnt plug it in until it got down to 0 F at night.

A fresh tankful of winter blend Diesel, strong set of batteries and starter will crank em up below zero any day

I've never had a problem with starting my 2003 PSD. I just don't like to run the engine when it's that cold. Heating the coolant, oil, and tranny is just a TLC type thing. I want this engine to last for 10 years plus.
