Ive read in a bunch of other posts about factory speaker upgrades...but I still have a question, are you putting the 5x7 components in all six spots or are you just doing the front 4 and putting 2 ways in the rear...
Would it sound ok doing it that way??(components in the front, 2 ways in the back?) and Where do ya get the Dyna mat? Anyone running Sony X-plodes??

I did components in the front and rear and two ways for the back. they won't sound too different because of the way they are set in the panels. As far as dynamat I've seen it cheaper on e-bay but watch the shipping. Sonys are ok But really listen to all the speakers before you buy. Don't go off what a salesman tells you. Good luck, Bill

I also went the component way. I have 6.5 MB Quarts in the front and 5.25's in the rear with pioneer 5x7 2 ways for the rear fill. I got a pr of Rockford amps for Christmas so I will be doing a amp install and building a sub enclosure for my soon to be ordered 10" Kicker solo baric. I will be taking install pictures as well.

Well, unfortuneately the money that I had set aside for speakers ended up going to the power steering pump!! It gave up the ghost shortly after I posted the response!!

Did you have to cut the sheet metal on the doors to make the 6.5's fit. I am trying to install JL Audio XR series 6.5 components's and they will not fit without trimming the sheetmetal (which I am not too happy doing).
Thanks,
Chris

I installed Rockford amp and sub box (12inche), the amps are located under the 3rd row seats and they are pretty cool as I still have the abilty to flip the seat forward and the pulsing light is cool to see (at least for those riding back there)
