My mirror spit at me when I said it, so obviously my completely stock PSD X "The Tank" isn't in the running.

So... who's the fastest?

If you've ever taken your X to the strip post up!

Hmmmmm. This gives me a reason to tow my 65 Catalina to the strip instead of driving it....

Had my kit car at 140MPH running around Charlotte (now Lowe's) Motor Speedway. The car's set-up to go fast and stay fast in the curves. Drag racing is a little boring to me. But the X? Well, it's towed the car to several places.

I think I posted this before...
only made two passes it was so crowded, so I had NO idea how to launch...
And I'm going from memory here so don't hold me to it:
TERRIBLE reaction time - like 1.3 sec ?
2.3 60 foot
9.5 1/8th @ 74 mph ??????
I can't remember...
but that's representative....

fast enough for 8k+ lbs

and dynoed a LONG time ago @ 375 rwhp and 720 lft....

I've been checking out your radius rods, nice work! I used to live in Charlotte, I took my Civic around Lowes at about 125 and my stepfather took the Acura TL around. It sure was fun to do something a litte different

Speaking of kit cars, my stepfather owns a superformance cobra in Charlotte. Only yellow/black one I've seen there. What kit car do you own?

I'm sure some of you think I'm crazy asking about a "fast" excursion, but I think it would be nice to click of some "peppy" times to surprise a few people I mean the PSD can make big power, add a built tranny and some Radius Rods/Traction bars and you're good to go!

While it's not an Excursion, it's still a Powerstroke SuperDuty: One of the site sponsors, Diesel Innovations has their SuperDuty running 11s. Check it out. LOTS of black smoke.

WOW - that is FAST on the liquid stuff !!!

years ago had an sk hull with LOT's of carburation on top a 454 ci in-out and I've been up to about 90 or so in it !!! and 12 inches off the water makes it seem VERY fast...

the passengers had to duck down the air pressure was so much (a 6 inch windscreen didn't do much, but it looked GOOD !)
