Hello all, I have been lurking here for a while and finally found an X with the options I wanted. I drove 200 miles to pick it up and I was grinning from ear to ear the entire 200 miles back home! I love this thing. I have a 96 Dodge Ram 4x4 but wanted something with 4 doors but hate the new rams. My dad had a 95 F350 with the 7.3 and just traded it in on an 03 F350 6.0 Crew cab 4x4 with all the options and I fell in love with it the first time I drove it. I wanted somthing to tow a 30 foot travel trailer and haul my 130 pound Alaskan Malamute around in, and the X fit the bill perfect.
Reading all the informative posts here has helped me decide what things to do when I decide to start upgrading it. They also helped me make my choice on what to look at and look for.
2001 XLT - 4x4 - 7.3 PSD - 88,000 miles - grey cloth interior - 305/70 Bridgestone Dueller AT's with only 250 miles on them, drop in K&N, only ONE small nick in the paint, no swirls or scratchs or fading, and the interior still looks new, very well taken care of. Got it for $20,000,.

Richardson, Tx, havent been there in a while, I lived in Allen for 10 years and worked at the old theatre in front of the Prestonwood Mall.
Thanks! My dad loves it, we parked it next to his 03 dually and he was looking at the different things between them,, then he took it for a spin and was very impressed. His 6.0 has the banks monster exhaust and tuner and its a pulling machine, we want to see how well my X pulls now.
The Duellers are very good tires, they are quiet, I would like to see how the do in the snow. I have 285/75 -16 Firestone Destination MT's on my Ram and they are great. They are a big lug mudder so they are not quiet and dont ride as smooth as the AT's but they handle very good and have pulled me out of some nasty mud holes a couple times. Good in the snow also. I never thought I would own a firestone tire but after reading lots of positive reviews I decided to go with them and have not been disapointed.

Welcome aboard! Your dog will love the room inside the X. Our German Shephard (still a pup) weighs in at about 100 lbs and likes the middle part of the vehicle the best when the seats are folded down. Plenty of room for him to pace back and forth from window to window.

bigdaddyTank,

Welcome to the site. I couldn't agree more....I'm not a big fan of the new Dodge Ram but the X puts a smile on my face daily.....congrat....I really like the dark grey accent colour with the chrome bumpers.
