Ok I Know you X experts out there can answer this question. I am currently looking at buying a New Toy hauler , Im currently leaning towards the Attitude toy hauler by Eclipse,... anyways Im wondering what size I should go ? I would really love to go with the 26 ft front sleeper but Im afraid of the weight issue supposedly it weighs about 6500 dry weight with options as high as 7500 fully loaded with toys and everything else it would come in close to 9800lbs. Do you guys think I would have any problems? my X is a v10 4x4 03 with 3.73 rear end any help here would be great thanks guys !

I pull an Airstream 34' Tri-axle with my Y2K Ex equipped similarly to yours over the flatlands and rolling hills of the midwest and it does just peachy. The Airstream maxes out at about 8800 lbs. If you're planning on tacking Banner Grade, or Hwy 78 through Julian with 10k lbs behind you, I'd suggest you start looking for an F350 crew cab dually with a long box. You're not going to be a happy camper pulling that much weight with the Ex's (relatively) shorter wheelbase over those mountains, expecially on the Borrego side of the grades!

A guy that I talk to on another forum up until about a month ago towed a 42ft Cigarette Tiger weighing in at a modest 11K. The only thing he did to the mighty Ex was put airbags on the rear. His was a 4x4 V-10 with the 4:30's, just like mine. He was getting about 7-8 mpg towing.

Nelson, I pull an Attitude 25 AK with my 01' , be sure to upgrade the factory hitch if you go with the front sleeper, the tongue weight will be more than it is rated for with weight distribution bars, the weight you are getting out of the brochure for the Attitude is a dry weight without any options, most people are scaling those units at 8300 lbs. leaving you about 2500 for water food and cargo. hope this helps.
