How in the world do I disconnect the seat belt chime. When moving boats around at the marina I dont want to wear my seatbelt and I do want to kill the little guy flashing on the dash.
Is there a way to disconnect this with out effecting anything else.

On my truck I just push in the sealt belt button and it stops the chime. I have an 02, but Ive heard that the newer models this dose not work. |

I have an 02 with the Diesel and in my owners manual there is a detailed instruction on how to deactivate the alarm. I forget now but it was a real pain to do it. I wish there was a way to hook up a laptop and make all the changes.

Page 111 of the 03 Ex has the instructions on how to deactvate or activate...
It's like 5 pre-setup steps and 9 other steps, but it is a user adjustable parameter...
