Getting all my stuff together for my install and need to know which bags I need for my 2005X 4X with a 2" block lift in the back. My questions is this; do the bags mount on the springpack or axle? If they mount on axle outside of the springpack they will be 2" too short and the radius-rod clamp will be in the way. Does anybody have any pic's and does anybody have an 05 4X with lift, bags and rods?

Thanks in advance for any help,

Mike

Dunedog -- Welcome to the forum. The air-bag installations I've seen have them mounted inboard of the spring-pack. They typically mount between the frame rail and the metal bump-stop sticking inboard of the spring-pack. If you have a 2" lift, that may be of no consequence to the air-bags, but I have heard that spacers are available, and they would most likely fit between the air-bag and frame rail.

In regards to fitting with radius-rods, do you already have a set of them? If you have the GEN-I kit, no problem with air-bags. If you have the GEN-II kit, then that metal bump-stop has been trimmed to suit the GEN-II installation, and is no longer as strong as it once was. If you do not have radius-rods (I can't tell who you are via your username), then the new for '06 GEN-III radius-rods will suit you to a tee ... plus, I'll have some GEN-I kits available next spring, too.
