Greetings all,

2003 6.0 47K just went into the dealer because it was pissing coolant all over the driveway. The tech called me and said it would be $115 in parts and $300+ in labor to replace it. WTF

What is so damn special about that hose?

Thank You,
Michael

The lower radiator hose is "T" in design or a hose with three connections.
Lower Hose Ford MSRP price $58
From what I know it should take under 2 hours along with replacing the coolant.
It's the upper clamp that's a bear to get to

On the early 6.0L's the hose would rub against the steering box causing it to leak, the updated hose (2004-up)now clears the interfering steering box.
