Ok, my running board lights fill up with water. Anyone else have this issue? My sockets rust out so I have to replace them about once a year. Anyone have a fix for this?

Bill,
I have an 02 Ex V-10 that had the same problem. Mine was still under wtty so I took her to the dealer and they replaced the socket assy, lamp assy and the bulb assy. So in essence, they replaced the lamp housing, sockets and bulbs. I did notice no more leaks as it has almost been 1 year. They put some type of sealant around the lamp housing that goes into the running boards. My feeling when one my bulbs goes bad and I try to break the sealant, I'm going to have the same exact problem again.

How about trying some plumber's putty and placing a small bead around the base before putting the lens on. Press the lens in place and use a putty knife to remove the excess. Stuff nefer hardens and provides a water tight seal. Just a thought.

I was thinking of that. it seems like it's got a good seal around the base. It's pretty good at holding the water in. when I get a good day to wash her, i"ll seal them up
