For some unkown reason my new 2-way autostart refuses to work when the truck is cold. The truck has to be running for at least 90 min. before i can autostart it remotely. The installer can'y figure it out even after replace the module and 4 bypasses and then even hardwired the key to the cylinder.
If anyone has any info at all it would be greatly appreciated. Thanx in advance. Ecxellent webstie!!! |

The only time my autostart won't start the truck is when I had a battery going bad. it would click on then off

The batteries on the truck turn the engine over without any problem. Sittting in the truck when i push the autostart i notice the theft light flashes quickly. For some reason it is not detectcing the key that we hard wired to the cylinder. I just don't understand it. I might just rip the thing out and install another 2-way brand that has a proven track record of working in a 7.3PSD. Does anyone know of one? Thanks again. |

To MY simple mind, sounds like an installer problem
(Hope that installer is not you )
FYI, I don't have that brand, but IMO, remote starts are worth every penny !!!!
won't have another vehilce without one....
