Hello everyone!
Just bought a 2005 X Limited with the 6.0L diesel. I got a lot of info from this site during my search for a great towing family truckster. So, thanks for the help.
Also, it has the factory DVD, but it did not come with the manual. We are having a hard time finding information on how to work the thing. It works with the wireless headphones but I cannot get it to play through the speakers. Anyone know what I need to do to make that work?
So far I love the truck. Yesterday I brought 6 people and 12 big suitcases to the airport. This thing is BIG!

pushing the 2 and the 4 button together changes the system from single play to dual play mode.

I HAVE the manual and still can't figure out how to work the dang DvD without reading it each time 
What's worng with putting MEANINGFUL names on the buttons ???
Mine seems to be "ON" all the time... as if the dvd player is spinning even without a dvd in it....

Thanks for the info JohnBoy. The VIN is still registered to the dealership, so I have to wait until it is transferred to me before I can get an account on myford.com
Edit: I can get an account, just cant upgraded it with the VIN number yet. Need that to get to those "top secret" manuals!

on edit - sorry - can't pm here - sent u an email - respond with yours and I will email the manual in pdf format...
even zipped it's 2.6 to 3 Meg... might have an issue with our emails...

Maybe I am just not smart enough, or the thing is broken! I have done every thing I can think of, including the desperate act of reading the manual and I still cannot get the DVD player to play through the speakers 
It works fine through the wireless headphones, just won't play through the speakers.
