I am looking for a good rack, (for my surfboards mainly, and kayaks, and I sometimes go camping, so it would be nice to pile all the crap up there). I have ac chance to buy a custom rack fitted for an excursion (the whole roof) for $450, but it would require bolying it down to the roof. Not sure if I want to put whole in the roof , could open a whole can of worms.

I want one that slides into the tracts on the roof rack, so that I can take it off if I want to and not leave holes. but I have not found one... HMMMMMMMM NEW IDEA... hold on im going to pattent this...

I highly recommend Yakima. I purchased the Megawarrioor with the extension. It is 6ft. x 4ft. and 6" deep. You can mount anything to it. I shopped around for a long time and am impressed with Yakima's products compared to what else is out there.
