I bought a used 04 Ex EB V10 4x4 and have been fighting a vibration at speed (65+). New goodyear wranglers cured 85% of the vibe but it still shakes. After some searching it looks like it might be either pinion angle or the drive shaft. I removed the rear drive shaft and went for a ride in 4hi. Smooth as can be, no vibration at all. This is where I noticed my traction bars don't sit at the same position when parked. Passenger side bump stop is against the spring, the driver’s side is not. I can fit a finger between the stop and the spring on the driver’s side. Where do the stops sit normally? Touching or not touching? Any ideas why they would be different?
The truck is not lifted and is my wife’s DD.
Oh and LANDYOT if you read this. Send me an email about your radius rod.

Different gap from side to side is not uncommon with the OEM traction bars, but it mostly depends on how your X is parked when you compare the 2 sides. One side down, or parking cattywompass on a hill could easily throw off one side until you start rolling again.
Best way to ensure equal spacing is to park on level ground after having come to a slow rolling stop with the front wheels pointed straight ahead. Jack up the rear at the hitch receiver until both rear wheels are dangling, then slowly let the truck back down to the ground. Then use a tape measure to compare the distance from the axle tube to the center of the spring-perch bolt ... should be within ~1/4" of each other.
