I'm surprised to hear you are not able to pull the camper with you're gasser. I too have a 2001 V10 that seems to pull my 30' Coachman just fine. And that's with a 3.73 rear. the trailer weighs 7200 lbs dry.

truck "PULLS" the camper just fine (11,000lbs). Its the spring flex and rear steering I am getting. I dont want to make the truck ride like a tank for 4 weeks of camping and several week ends.Wifey said enough money in it. Buy a lower truck to tow or get a smaller camper.

I've been on the hunt to find a oil burner to add to my gasser. Seems like the dealers are hip to people looking for them. I've seen some prices that are just stupid. I've been told by a few dealers that there going for more then there worth at wholesale because of the demand.
