How do you get the old bulbs out of the fogs once you have access to the back of the fog light frames? So far I've been able to disconnect the wiring from the bulb but cannot remove bulb assembly from the frame assembly. I had no problem with the headlights but these fogs are giving me some trouble. I did end up removing the license plate holder to get at the back. Your help is greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
Rick |

Once you've gained access to where you can grip the backside of the bulbs, you should be able to twist them counterclockwise to release them from the housings. When I did mine (a few years back), I think I removed the grille to gain access.
Don't forget to not let your fingers make contact with the glass portion of the new bulbs. |

Ken, good hearing from you and thank you for your prompt reply. Did you also put in a harness from suvlights and if so, did you run a separate harness from the fogs as well or just from the main headlamps and use the stock wiring in the fogs?

Thanks for the reminder. I need to replace both sides of my fog lights. My driver side foglight it dead. I discover that this morning when I saw my headlamp and foglights reflection off they car infront of me... Boy thats embarrassing driving with a single foglamp, So I turn off the foglamp. But I'm going to replace both at the same time. I don't want to be like the other guys with miss-match brightness.
Oh ya... And they are currently Silverstar light bulbs and they will continue to be...

I've decided that Xochi was in cahoots with the gas stations to rid me of my bank account. I still and love her.

Well, finally managed to get the Silverstars installed; works great and noticed an immediate difference. Now on to ordering the harnesses and for the next big question. What harness do I get? A few people mentioned the suvlights dual heavy duty 9004/9007. A few have also mentioned the 9007 harnesses from blackclouddiesel and gosperformance. I'm inclined to think that the dual from suvlights allows you to hook up to both batteries, which may be better in the long run? Should I order 2 coupler 9004/9005 adapters for the fogs or order the universal harness for the fogs or no harness at all for the fogs? Thank you once again for helping me as I am a bit confused.
