Eric, I am jealous!! Although, what I REALLY want for Christmas is a GT500.

BTW, the link for the 07 at the bottom of your page doesn't work.

Bruce,

It's been a lot of fun. I've only really ever owned "big cars" and trucks. The only thing remotely sporty I've owned was a '75 MGB and an '87 Ford Escort...neither of which hit the mid 'teens in the quarter mile. The '07 Mustang GT is a lot of fun...unfortunately it is technically the wife's car. I get to drive it until she learns how to drive a stick. She's a little frightened by it right now (more fun for me)!

The GT500's are hard to come by, from what I hear...that is, unless you're willing to pay $20K over MSRP. The dealership I bought the Mustang from is also a Saleen/Roush/SVT/Foose/etc. dealership, so they had several very nice 'stangs on the lot. No GT500's though.

(btw, thanks, I fixed my signature)

I'm the same way, Eric. I've always had the 'family' car (crown vic, grand marquis, F150 Supercab) while the other half has had her Chrysler convertibles . Now that the duaghters are grown and gone, I have the Ex. But any Ford with almost 500 hp and only weighing in at 3600 pounds has to be a lot of fun.

And I like the wheels.... the old Crager SS wheels are my all time favorite and your wheels are pretty close.

Eric,
That is one BEAUTIFUL car. My wife wants the convertible mustang. From the looks of some of your photos, they have really got that engine crammed into that compartment. And I thought things were tight on the Ex. Congrats on your newest addition.

You bet! It's a dealership sticker. Worst possible typeface, too. It looks like I purchased it from a Buick dealer. I'll be removing it soon.

Very nice! My wife really enjoys her '05. Hers isn't a GT, but that lil' 4.0 V6 really scoots. She had me install the GT grille & fog lights, and a dual exhaust system (with H-pipe).

You're fortunate in that NC doesn't require front license plates ... keeps the front looking clean.
