I am not having much luck finding the bushings for the front sway bar links. I either find the links or the bar bushing. I don't really need the link, just the bushings. Mine are shot!

If you are looking for OEM replacements, have you tried the dealer?
Or are you looking for polyurethane bushings? If so, I'd start looking here...

If they don't have 'em, they may tell you where to look.

My experience (2 years ago) was that the bushings were not available as an orderable part. The link arms were the replaceable part. Can't remember what I paid to have them replaced.

I believe the sway bar end links on the SuperDuty are the same as the Excursion and if that is the case Energy Suspension has a polyurethane kit for the end link bushings.
4.5186 should be the part number. I can try and call ES Weds morning to get their take.

Yep they do. I just did mine. This is a real good complement to the sway bar and spring eye replacments bushings. |

According to the ES website, the Excusion bushings are a different size in MM than the F250. The kit shown for the F250 is 32MM and the Excursion is 36MM.
Not sure if the kit for the Excursion includes the End Links or not,but is is called a Complete Front Sway Bar Frame Bushings - 1-1/4".
Research the site and you will also see the 36MM next to the 1-1/4". I am confused. I need them also, but think a phone call to discuss it would be much better since the site is not real clear to me. |

Update! Ordered my bushing set from ES. Should be in any day now. Question is this....When I begin to remove the front sway bar, is it under any pressure that I should be concerned with? Should I let her sit on the tires normally when removing the bolts?
Second question is the torque settings for bolting it back together?
By the way, here is what I was told to order for my 2002 Excursion Limited 4X4 :

Make sure your truck is on absolute flat level ground so when you go to line the end links up with the bar you won't have to he man the bar to line the bolts up.
Keep us posted as my front bar bushings need to be done as well.

I paid $160 for both eye link bars, OEM of course. I was told that there was no bushing kits available, from Ford of course. What are the bushing kits running? |
