I did it! I odered my ARTS rotors and pads and using the online instructions I was able to complete the installation.
I might add that my rotors were somewhat rusted on and that no allowance was made for that in the instructions. I finally figured out that I had to beat them off with a hammer.
Also I needed to rotate the rear wheel so I could hit the rotors with a hammer. I put the truck in neutral and had to press the brake down to do that and the piston came to far out of the caliper so I had to get a new caliper.
Oh well, live and learn.
Does anyone know what I should do with the old Rotors?

ART Rotors and PF pads are great...
I certainly HOPE you changed your slide pins (or made sure they were lubed up and free) ... the directions on this site fail to mention them... for your sake I HOPE so.

The new caliper came with new slide pins. The slide pins did operate freely and I bought some hightemp grease.
Thanks for the info.

If you know anyone who has a show car/truck, they might want the old rotors to make some rope stanchions. They'd also make nice bases for anyone wanting to make their own jackstands. |

One piston was in an the other one totally out and kind of cocked. I tried to get it back in with a c-clamp but it wouldn't go.
Oh well. The ex continues to stop
