Are you referring to the changer that is located in the center console box? If so, I do not use mine. In fact, I've never used it....I bought my X 2 years ago and the changer carriage (what holds the cd's) was not included....I never looked for one and since have installed an iPod interface. I cannot, therefore, totally guarantee it's operation but I would be willing to work something out....could use the extra space in the console.
