Hey everyone:
Thank you for reading my post. I have a 2005 Excursion with the V10 (31K miles) and it is idling rough, almost like it is missing. It comes and goes, but I am concerned because I am leaving for vacation tomorrow. Now, it was fine up until today when I had an oil change, air filter change, radiator flush and transmission flush. I don't know if that had anything to do with it.
Now, I have read that if you disconnect the battery that will reboot the computer. Is that as simple as it sounds? Can this help or correct the problem? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks again.

Could be one of the coil packs. Each spark plug has one and is difficult to find without a computer.
Hope you find the culprit!

Well an oil change wouldn't cause a rough idle UNLESS whoever did it spilled some oil down one of the sparkplug holes or on the COP. Check that side.
Airfilter change CAN cause a rough idle IF the MAF sensor wire isn't hooked up. Check that. Or if the filter is installed wrong and allows either leaks or blockage. Check that.
Radiator flush will nto cause idle problems
Trans flush MAY. How's the level? Does it idle rough in gear AND in park. Does it cruise smooth? Who did the work for you?
