can anyone direct me the right way. i searched, and searched but cant find much on these trucks. i went to offroad wearhouse and they suggested a upgrade pack with headers/exhaust/intake, but i want to research first to see what other users have tried and liked or disliked with their v10 trucks. |

You put 5.13 gears in it? What size tire do you have on it?
Foolproof engine mod would be a Banks Powerpack. Gears are the BEST mod hands down for more power. (perceived)

You can make more power for less most of the time by not buying banks. Banks you usually pay for their advertising.
But I'm still going to outfit myself with banks, because I want the security of monitoring (which is more of a concern with diesel) and shift on the fly programing. Maybe I'll swap intakes and exhausts to save some bucks. |

then why tell a person to NOT buy banks then do it yourself.........does not make for good reasoning...
I have been doing alot of research and the banks looks like the better system just b/c its all built to work together that and banks is well know for quality stuff as a former tech at 4WP the banks stuff ALWAYS went on easier than many of the other kits
Also the fact that the POWERPACK is pretty much a bolt on/plug and play deal that HAS to be apealing too
Just my $.02

First I didn't tell him not to buy banks. Get your grammar right. And second I'm no longer getting banks. Because I've read and been told that they're programming isn't that great. I can get better for less. One of the biggest reasons I was gona get banks was because everything was together and would come in one shot. Now I don't care. The only banks product I'm getting is a monster exhaust because I've been told its close to stock in sound. I hate drone.
By the way something is up with those dynos on the first link because theres no way the v10 is putting out 180 rwhp stock. My 4.6 v8 will do better than that. |

Minor drone at around 1600RPM with half throttle. But NOTHING like my FM40 on my previous V10 Excursion BTW, I have the Monster Exhaust on my 05.
Sound clip. http://www.supermotors.net/vehicles/registry/media/280845
