my 2004 6.0L x has been shifting weird. only when it is warm or hot,when i shift into drive or reverse from park the truck starts to move then stop,then it grabs again and is ok. any answers ?? ty

Have you had a code scanner hooked to the X to see what comes up? It could be the temperature sensor in the trans,I recently read a thread about it.

had in in to ford dealer today they said it was a value body sticking,right now its not to bad.i a going to let it be for the time being,since the warrenty is out. maybe i will try some tranny additives and have the fluid changed ty for the reply

Generally what I do which is the least costly is doing the fluid and filter/s,in the past it's helped.
