Well excursion owners here I am a brand new Ford convert, I vowed never to come back to the Oval but Chevy and Dodge cannot satisfy my need for a SUV and Diesel power so I made a compromise and hopefully soon a 02 Excursion Limited 4x4 will be mine. Have some big plans for the beast, Diamond Eye exhaust, CAI, Crossover tube, Overboost eliminator, SCT Livewire.
Anything I should immediately pickup on the way home from the stealership?

Travis welcome to the Excursion community brother!!!
If you got a 7.3L Excursion well you're going to be busy for a long time doing upgrades 
I highly recommend the AFE Stage II Pro Guard 7 air filter kit to get her breathing and will be a perfect match for an open 4" exhaust system(we have Magnaflow).
There's a ton of free/low dollar modifications available for the 7.3L which I can get you started with 
Post up pictures of the new X when you get a chance.
