Help!! My EX threw a new code for me. It's a P1316. The book that came with my code reader only goes to P0999. Does anyone know what a 1316 code is? The engine is chugging along on about 7 cylinders. It's home now and will stay there [here] until I can fix the problem.

Without visiting The Google Ad Stop link, the 1316 should be the UVC or better known as the Under Valve Cover harness, one of the injector plug clips may be loose or perhaps some wire chafing going on.

Unfortunately, I took the EX to the local dealer. Yes it was the #7 injuector wiring. I found out that the valve cover gasket and the wiring harness are one in the same. $90 each and over $600 labor. It took them a little over a day to fix it. Total bill was $839. OUCH!!! Next time we do it ourselves. For that price one would expect that they would have replaced both sides. It does run much better now. This was my first expense with this vehicle so, if you spread it out over the time I've owned the EX [bought it in March 2002] I got a really good deal.
