I have a 2005 X and 1 3 year old with a second due in two weeks. Am I correct in that the rear seats of the X do not have the attachment points for a child seat LATCH system, except for the hooks at the base of the rear of the seats? There is no LATCH system in the front crease of the seat where the back rest meets the seat bottom? I'm kind of surprised that a vehicle from 2005 does not have the full LATCH system. (Yeah, I know the X is right on the line between a work truck and a family truck, but you would have thought that Ford would have realized that at least some families would be buying one.) Any thoughts?
Sorry...no LATCH system. Only got the tethers behind the outboard positions in the second row and under the seats and the one rear tether in the 3rd seat.
