Hi members. Just thought I'd post this funny (but sad) conflict I had between myself and the moderator of "Ford Truck Enthusiasts" forum.
As you can see in my profile, my Excursion has a 5.5." lift on 37" X-Terrains. Well, I'm a high school English teacher now, so i can't afford my bad mileage. So I removed the lift last weekend and I thought I'd offer the springs and tires to some other Excursion owners. I guess I forgot their rule about posting parts for sale, so their website blocked me. I emailed the moderator this morning to let him know about the oversight. Take a look how rude his response was below! Anyway, I post this because I'm thankful for the good guys here at FordExcursion.com.... from which I have learned a ton of tips and info in the thousand posts that have helped me... and never snapped at me! Thanks for being a good group. I appreciate you. Take a look what he said:
"IF you have been reading the Forums for YEARS…..you know, by the Guidelines and reading that selling is NOT allowed by ANY member of FTE ...you WOULD also know that when you hit three forums with the same post…in less than three minutes ( and you only have three posts) it is called SPAMMING..Not being a contributing member of the community.
I do not like being lied to."

Good grief. What a crappy response. 
As a former moderator for YEARS over at ford-trucks.com let me say that things have changed a bit over the years with some of the moderation "techniques".
While he was technically correct he could have certainly handled it with manners. To block you from the site is just plain stupid.
There is a large number of people who post things like spam and other things that the Moderators have to deal with. Sounds like this guy (Krewat or Toreador_diesel ?) must have had a bad day. Those guys are typically top-notch.
